The Pecan City Pedalers (PCP) is a non-profit community club. The purpose of which is to promote the sport of cycling in the Albany area through quarterly meetings, regularly scheduled Club rides, through our Club website and FaceBook page and our Annual Nut Roll Charity Ride.
Cycling is a wonderful social activity and our goal is to provide an opportunity for all cyclists to share in our enthusiasm for good health, camaraderie, the love of the outdoors, a desire to learn more about our sport and promote safe cycling.
The PCP encourages safe recreational cycling, promotes competitive racing through sponsorship of the USAC registered PCP Race Team and NICA Chehaw Devo Composite Mountain Bike Team for our youth. You can participate with PCP at any level of interest, from recreational rides to racing, road or mountain biking.

When does the club meet?
The Pecan City Pedalers meets the first Thursday of January, April, August and November. We meet at 7:00 p.m.
Where does the club meet?
Moe's Southwest Grille in Albany (back meeting room) come early and enjoy dinner and fellowship 6-7pm
What about weekly rides?
The club has weekly rides on Saturday mornings. Check the local rides link, events calendar or the cycling forum to find out more about rides, i.e. times, meeting places, etc.
How difficult are these rides?
There are usually riders of varying skill levels, so rarely will some one have to ride alone.
Are there any requirements to ride these rides?
Every rider must wear an approved bicycle helmet. No Exceptions!

ARTICLE I: NAME
The name of this Club is Pecan City Pedalers. For the purposes of these By-Laws, the terms
"Club" and "PCP" refer to the Pecan City Pedalers.
ARTICLE II: PURPOSE
The Pecan City Pedalers is a non-profit community club, the purpose of which is to promote the
sport of cycling in the Albany area through monthly meetings, regularly- scheduled Club rides,
and through a PCP Club website: www.pecancitypedalers.org.

Bicycle riding is an inherently dangerous sport. Any rides or events organized by the group are open to anyone but the PCP Cycling Club does NOT assume any liability for your participation. By participating, you agree for yourself, your heirs, executors and administrators to waive any and all claims for personal injury and/or damage that you may have against the PCP Cycling Club including its executive officers, members or representatives for any and all injuries received while taking part in any and all activities organized, sponsored or sanctioned by the PCP Cycling Club.
